Christine Kuo returns to Toronto
This year's Miss Chinese International 2009 winner Christine Kuo appeared as a guest in TVB's programme "Starry Kitchen" yesterday. She said she was very happy to have the chance to be in the kitchen because back home her parent's don't allow her to enter the kitchen. She mostly enjoys cooking soup because you just need to pour in all the ingredients and that's it. After 3 hours the soup is ready. The reporter asked if she has cooked soup for her boyfriend before? Master Chow Chung who was beside her immediately said "She just cooked for me." Due to Christine planning to stay in Hong Kong and start her career in the entertainment industry, she would like to try making Guangdong dim sum such as Prawn Dumpling, Pork Siu Mai etc.
Today she will return to Toronto and plans to stay there for 2 -3 months because if she is to stay in Hong Kong for her new career she needs to prepare for it. Although she has not yet discussed the matter with her parents, she believes they will be very supportive. They will also stay with her in Hong Kong for a short period. The reporter asked if she would like to film series or do hosting? She said she still isn't sure which area she is interested in yet, so that is why she will try everything. Despite that she knows Chinese, her Cantonese isn't fluent and she will work hard in improving.
