Adam Cheng: People can absorb the Ding Hai effect

Adam Cheng, Niki Chow, Patrick Tang, Joyce Tang, Derek Kwok and Catherine Chau etc appeared at TVB City yesterday to promote the series "The King of Snookers" which will be released at the end of the month. The other day Dodo Cheng mentioned that people should be careful because Adam's new series could have the "Ding Hai Effect" again. (A peculiar stock phenomenon that affects Hong Kong stock markets). Adam laughed and said people can absorb it then. The reporter said if he collaborated with his daughter Joyce Cheng then there would be a even bigger "Ding Hai Father and Daughter effect". Adam laughed "If there's a topic then that is good. Most important is that there is topic to talk about."

Niki plans to buy property to retire

Niki doesn't believe the Ding Hai effect will happen. Although she doesn't buy HSBC stocks, she does buy other stocks. But she will let her mother manage the investment side of things. She has plans to buy a property at the end of the year while the prices are down. So that she can receive rent until retirement. The reporter asked her whether she was worried that she couldn't get married or doesn't want to depend on a man? She smiled and said " Don't say that, it's just that whatever happens at least I own my property. Should I be sleeping under the bridge then?"

Joyce Tang praises Derek Kwok

Joyce and Derek attended as a couple. Although Niki and Joyce were constantly chatting together however Joyce and Derek still became the hot topic. Niki even directly asked them "When are you both getting married?". Afterwards Joyce talked about the storyline. She said in the series Derek has no snooker cue to use. Therefore she will encourage him and help him find a snooker cue. She said in cantonese the phrase "Mo Q Yung" which means No Snooker cue to use, but can also mean useless. The reporter asked her if Derek is useless. She replied "Of course he is useful." But she refused commenting on how useful he is.
