Nicholas Tse Offered 10 Million Yuan Film Deal
Later on bagging double Best Supporting Actor wins for his role as a rickshaw-puller in the film, Bodyguards and Assassins, at the recent Hong Kong Film Awards and the Asian Film Awards, Nicholse Tse's acting career gets on the upswing.
With his acting capacities reaffirmed by these two awards, he reportedly showed his desires to "focus on taking films" and has "little concern for drama series", according to his manager.
To look for Nicholas's involvement in an forthcoming drama series, a Chinese production company has proposed the 29-year-old a stumbling eight-figure paycheck of 10 million yuan. They asked for two months worth of his time and plan to start shooting in Hengdian, China during July. It will be a period drama series having the likes of Charlene Choi and Kenny Kwan.
