Who is the "Real Imitator": Jolin Tsai (蔡依林) or Hamasaki Ayumi (浜崎 あゆみ) ?

Jolin Tsai (蔡依林) had antecedently been supposed to have imitated the look of Japan's prima donna, Hamasaki Ayumi (浜崎 あゆみ), a lot of times. This saga hasn't calmed down until nowadays and lately, a few netizens from Mainland China forgathered collectively in revenge. They say that Ayumi is in reality imitating Jolin furiously and are invoking to Jolin fans to boycott Ayumi.

Jolin was frequently charged of imitating Ayumi's look in the past times. Last year, their new record album became head-to-head once they were brought out in Taiwan on the same day. Ayumi's 10th album "Next Level" featured a tagline in its commercial message: "十的下一步，超越濱崎步" means "The next step after 10, surpass Hamasaki Ayumi". The "10", symbolizing Ayumi's "10th year of first appearance", was read as "Yi Ling (一零)". "Yi Ling (一零)" and "Yi Lin (依林)" sound similar and then fans sensed that Ayumi was openly aiming Jolin and applying the 'copying saga' as promotional material.

It's been over one-half a year since then but lately, Jolin's fans from Mainland China has been assaulting Ayumi. Other than claiming that her fame is dropping off, they as well adverted validation that Ayumi imitated Jolin's 11 set of looks. One of it is the look she spotted in the PV for 'Rule' where she imitated the black low-cut, long-sleeved outfit Jolin had in 2006 and 2007. Netizens also supported Jolin, saying that she was entrapped to have imitated Ayumi, and attracted to fans to group collectively and boycott Ayumi, who's getting in the China market. A few netizens even praised Jolin as the superbia of Chinese and critisized Hamasaki Ayumi as 'Imitator Ayumi'. They also state that she frequently copies Madonna and Britney.

Avex, the company Ayumi is under, corrected any reaction to the backchat between fans although Jolin's company showed that Jolin's figure has all of the time been really original.
