Lin Yu-Chun “Little Fatty” to perform on NBC’s America’s Got Talent
Taiwan’s glory, Lin Yu-Chun (a.k.a “Little Fatty”), has been invited to perform on NBC’s America’s Got Talent this week!
Lin Yu-Chun rose to fame after his epic performance of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” on the popular singing competition show One Million Star. The British media even called him the “Taiwan version of Susan Boyle”; consequently, he obtained a record deal with Sony Music Taiwan back in May, and will be releasing his debut album in September, containing both Chinese and English songs.
Lin Yu-Chun will be performing "I Will Always Love you" on the Wednesday episode of America’s Got Talent. For this trip, Sony Music also sent six staff members to accompany Lin Yu-Chun. The show's production team not only paid for his and his assistants plane tickets, they also paid for all the hotel expenses for 4 days and 3 nights. This will be Lin Yu-Chun’s third visit to the United States. Thus, he expressed that he is not as nervous as the last two times, and he joked, “This time, I will definitely go search for some big-sized jeans!”
